Under the terms of the agreement, the Toronto Raptors player, represented by IMG, will provide Dreams Inc with his autograph on sports memorabilia and collectable items, and “game worn” jerseys and basketball shoes.
Ross Tannenbaum, president and CEO of Dreams Inc, described the deal as an “important signing”, adding: “We have spent considerable time negotiating with the professionals at IMG who represent Vince and have much respect for them. We sense that this will not be the last time our firms work together to add value to one of their clients.”
Dreams’ chief financial officer Mark Viner said that the deal have been facilitated by a recent increase in line-of-credit funding from Merrill Lynch.
