The British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) has announced a two-year broadcast deal with UK broadcaster Granada Sport.
All ten BTCC events will be screened in one-hour Saturday afternoon slots in all major regions of ITV’s network.
Seven of these will follow Formula One Grand Prix qualifying coverage. It is hoped that the scheduling will encourage F1 fans to stay tuned for the Touring Car events.
The contract includes an option for a third year.
