Leicester City names new CEO

Leicester City has named Steve Kind, formerly the club's finance director, as chief executive. Kind takes control at a pivotal moment in the Premier League club's history.

He will now oversee the club's move to a new 32,000-seater stadium to replace the current home ground at Filbert Street.
The new stadium is expected to be completed by the beginning of the 2003/2004 season but with Leicester City's Premier League status currently under threat of relegation, the incoming CEO will face a challenging first year in control.
Leicester City has named Mark Fenoughty as finance director with immediate effect.
