The agreement will see Sportinglife's cricket microsite carry the Intrade brand for the duration of England's three test series in India.
The sponsorship package will include online ads, branded score cards and competitions, with Intrade also providing up to the minute market analysis. The deal will also enable Intrade to post editorial content on the site, such as in-depth player reviews and features.
Commenting on the agreement, Paul Bellamy, commercial director at Intrade says: "Cricket is a sport extremely well suited to the Intrade trading model and this is a relationship that we hope will go forward from this point well into 2002."
Online sports content provider Sportinglife.com has signed a sponsorship deal with sports trading exchange Intrade.
