Naidoo, a brand protection lawyer in Utah, is currently working for the Salt Lake Organising Committee for the Olympic Winter Games of 2002.
Malcolm Speed, ICC CEO, commented: “There is a sizeable and growing amount of complex legal work connected to the business of cricket and it is important that the world governing body has its own specialist resource to handle it in a professional and decisive way.”
In October, the ICC launched a major new branding initiative including a new logo designed to reflect the "status, traditions and aspirations" of the organisation.
