After a day of frantic negotiations and legal settlements, both sides agreed a deal in the on-going dispute over the PFA's slice of TV revenues.
At a press conference in Manchester this evening, PFA chief Gordon Taylor said there was 'a long term agreement and a lot of money' involved - but refused to discuss the terms until he had revealed it to his members on Monday.
However Richard Scudamore, Premier League chief, revealed the deal was £52.5m over three years and 'included provisions to ensure no repeat' of the strike threat. Taylor added the PFA would have full discretion over use of the money.
Both the English Professional Footballers' Association and Premier League and Football League chiefs have confirmed both sides have reached a settlement to avert a strike threat in a £52.5m three-year deal.
