Selig faces contraction delay?

Major League Baseball’s contraction plans may be delayed by 12 months amid furious moves to prevent two teams being dropped.

Baseball owners are due to meet next week in Chicago to further discuss the proposals, but it is believed a grievance by the players' union and a court order in Minnesota will force commissioner Bud Selig to delay his plans by a year.
