Bosnia and Croatia have confirmed they will bid to host soccer’s European championships in 2008 – and have delivered preliminary details to ruling body UEFA on their plans.
They now have until the end of February to decide whether to confirm and pursue the bid.
Other countries known to be keen to bid include Hungary and Scotland. A joint bid has also been submitted by several Scandinavian countries.
