Ericsson Open gets new sponsors

Organisers of tennis’ Ericsson Open, have signed a string of new sponsorship deals, including a new title sponsor.

It has clinched a three-year agreement with electronic services firm Tyco/ADT to be presenting sponsor, with its logo to be incorporated into the new tournament logo for 2002.

Chairman of the event, Butch Buchholz also announced the addition of five first-time official sponsors in major categories for the 2002 Ericsson Open, including United Airlines (air travel), Championlyte (sports energy drink), Life O2 (bottled water) and Warsteiner (beer).
