Pepsi has won exclusive pouring and sponsorship rights for non-alcoholic refreshment beverages served at the brand new ballpark.
The Tigers' renewed relationship with Pepsi - the two last worked together in 1984 - includes joint advertising and marketing opportunities, as well as youth-oriented outreach efforts to be developed in Michigan.
Inside Comerica Park, a 250-seat section will be designated the `Pepsi Picnic Area?, featuring a dedicated concession area for fans. A separate, Pepsi-sponsored `Family-Value Section? will provide charitable organisations with up to 1,700 tickets to selected games.
Pepsi signage will be featured prominently on scoreboards, concourse areas, concession stands and in printed materials throughout Comerica Park. Pepsi's Aquafina and All Sport logos will be displayed on cups, squeeze bottles, coolers and towels in both the home and away dugouts during each game. The Tigers logo also will be merchandised on Pepsi packaging, vending machines and delivery vehicles in the Michigan marketplace.
Major League Baseball's Detroit Tigers have named Pepsi the `Official Soft Drink of Comerica Park? as part of a new, multiyear agreement.
