The race starts in Tenerife in the Canary Islands and finishes in Barbados approximately 55 days later. It involves a fleet of 50 two-person, sea-worthy rowing boats from around the world, including Team USA.
The sponsorship calls for www.F2Network.com to have the major signage on the Team USA boat, and for crew members to wear branded apparel, and promote the company by personal appearance at all media events.
Said Howard Stern, CEO and Chairman of First Entertainment Holdings: ``We will be attempting to stream live video from the races using a notebook computer and satellite telephone.''
www.f2network.com is one of the largest producers and aggregator of original audio and video entertainment content.
FirstEntertainment, the multimedia internet entertainment company, has signed a sponsorship agreement with Team USA for the Trans-Atlantic Rowing Race to be held in October 2001.
