NETTAXI.COM EXTENDS SHARKS SPONSORSHIP

Nettaxi.com, a community and portal web site with over 44 million visitors per month, has renewed its sponsorship agreement with the San Jose Sharks for the 2000-01 hockey season.

In the previous season, says the company, sponsorship visibilty of the Nettaxi.com name and logo was achieved through numerous national telecasts from the arena to hockey fans all over the US and Canada. In addition, Nettaxi.com has been able to enhance its B2B relationships by working with other prominent Shark's sponsors.

Commented Robert Speicher, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing: "During the period of sponsoring the Sharks, Nettaxi.com has experienced a marked increase in citizen sign-ups and registrations. Additionally, our sponsor relationship with the Sharks has exposed the Nettaxi.com name to the more than 2 million visitors to the San Jose Arena, which features almost 200 events a year ranging from the Three Tenors, Barbra Streisand and the Rolling Stones to the International SyBase Tennis Tournament and the NCAA Women's Final 4 Basketball championships.?
