The team visited the Games Village at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (Uniten) Sports Complex and the Shah Alam Sports Complex. A briefing to the OCA team was conducted by Secretary-General of the Sports Ministry, Datuk Mahamad Zabri Min.
Kuala Lumpur is the third destination for the OCA Sports Committee after visiting Doha (Qatar) and New Delhi (India). Tomorrow, they will depart for Hong Kong.
OCA Sports Committee Chairman Dr Muwaffak Fawaz of Jordan remained neutral on the facilities offered by New Delhi, Doha and Kuala Lumpur. "Every city has its own advantages and strengths. Our task is to prepare an evaluation report and submit it to OCA," said Dr Fawaz.
