The undisclosed consideration was funded by a placement of iSport Group stock to Britsport shareholders, including its founders and the venture capital group, Scottish Equity Partners.
The acquisition will position iSport as the leading provider in the United Kingdom of internet based sports administration and communication services to the amateur sports market, representing over 25 national governing bodies.
iSport's sports partners will include English Netball, Scottish Amateur Football, British Amateur Rugby League, English Basketball Association, National Federation of Anglers, British Gymnastics, Auto Cycle Union, Baseball Softball UK, Army Sport, British Handball and British University Sports Association.
