It will open new offices in Milan, Dusseldorf and Paris within the coming weeks. The network of specialists will then connect when working on global projects such as Formula One and World Cup 2002.
According to the company, the news comes on the back of increased growth in the role of sponsorship within communications planning.
The new entity will trade as total sponsorship and will initially employ over forty staff across four countries.
Andy Westlake, a director in the London office, has been promoted to the position of managing director of total sponsorship and will be joined by Jeremy Clark, director of sport, Mel Varley, chief CIA MediaLab officer, Dominic Grainger, CIA chief operating officer and the respected broadcaster and sports marketing consultant Alex Fynn who has accepted a position as a non-executive director.
Said Westlake: "We feel we have created a unique positioning and have built a team and a set of tools which enable us to talk the modern language of sponsorship - namely brands, sports marketing, broadcast sponsorship, digital media and evaluation.?
