India's state television and radio will broadcast the Games following the deal, worth 20 million rupees ($424,630/?465,705), a Prasar Bharti official said.
The deal gives the corporation exclusive rights for terrestrial and satellite broadcasts as well as the internet.
The Games - which will have competitions in athletics, boxing, field hockey, tennis, shooting, soccer, swimming and weightlifting - are due to be held from November 3-11.
Prasar Bharti said it would negotiate with the Asian Broadcasting Union and networks in Africa to beam the Games in the two continents.
