CSI ACQUIRES NEW TELEVISION RIGHTS

International television rights company CSI Ltd has recently acquired the exclusive television rights for home matches of the English football clubs in the UEFA Cup and the European Pro Beach Soccer League.

CSI have successfully concluded an exclusive agreement with UK-based Sky Sports where CSI represents all third party distribution rights for the English Premiership clubs participating in the 1999/2000 UEFA Cup, namely Leeds United, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur. As part of the agreement, CSI will act as an exclusive consultant to Sky Sports for second party rights.

Working with the Beach Soccer Company, CSI has also acquired the exclusive rights to the European Pro Beach Soccer League. The League kicked-off with the first event taking place in La Coruna, Spain earlier this year. Teams such as Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain participated in the seven League events with a number of additional exhibition tournaments featuring USA and the World Champions, Brazil.

The European Pro Beach Soccer League will be hosted in some of Europe?s finest beach locations, including the Monaco Gala leg scheduled in Monte Carlo, September 19-21.
