WESTWOOD ONE AND SPORTSLINE USA SIGN STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

Westwood One, America's largest radio network, and SportsLine USA, the leading global Internet sports media company and publisher of CBS SportsLine, have signed a three-year, $9 million promotional and programming agreement.

SportsLine will leverage its existing sports content and programming resources to co-produce a combination of exclusive pre-game, halftime and post-game updates as well as scoreboard reports for all of Westwood One/CBS Radio Sports' coverage of live sporting events. These events include NFL football, NCAA football, NCAA basketball, championship boxing, The U.S. Open and Masters golf championships and Notre Dame football.

Audio and multimedia content that SportsLine produces for the Westwood One/ CBS Radio Sports network will also be available on the CBS SportsLine Web site including actualities following sports events, which will also be distributed, to Westwood One/CBS Radio Sports stations.

In exchange, SportsLine will receive a variety of on-air promotional mentions for CBS SportsLine programming, products and services on Westwood One/CBS Radio Sports broadcasts. Said Michael Levy, president and CEO of SportsLine USA: "Our relationship with Westwood One allows us to leverage another member of the CBS family, in order to increase exposure for the CBS SportsLine brand to a powerful demographic audience. This alliance enables us to significantly grow our current radio business and to cultivate an important revenue stream through syndication."
