SEGA TO SIGN EUROPEAN SOCCER CLUBS

SEGA, the computer Games manufacturer, is set to follow its sponsorship deal with London based soccer club Arsenal by signing with a leading French club in the next seven days.

Jean Francois Cecillon, head of Sega Europe, told Sport Business that the French deal would be followed by a similar arrangement with a cub from Spain.

The deals are part of a marketing programme to Sega is set to roll-out its mould-breaking Dreamcast product in Europe. Dreamcast takes computer gaming to the next stage, allowing players to utilise the internet.
