The 2002 Championship will visit a total of seven countries, one more than last year. Six events have already been confirmed with one final date to be announced shortly.
As well as the established six, eight and 24-hour races, next year will also see the introduction of a new racing format – the prestigious 200 miles, with two pit and refuelling stops.
The 2002 Championship will continue to feature teams from the three competing classes – Superbike, SuperProduction and Stocksport who will all be competing for the Endurance World Championship crown. Some 20 permanent teams are expected to participate, four more than in 2001.
