Negotiations between the Australian Football League (AFL) and two radio stations over broadcast rights have stalled.
Triple M wants to cover football for free next year and 3AW has made an offer to the AFL significantly smaller than what it paid this year.
But the AFL wants up to four times the annual amount paid by the big boys of commercial radio broadcasting under their old contracts.
