Australia's World Cup soccer playoff at the Melbourne Cricket Ground next month is close to a sellout.
Soccer Australia confirmed today less than 10,000 tickets remained for the match against the fifth-placed South American side at the MCG, which is likely to be on November 18.
Of those tickets, 7000 are the "super tickets" which allow entry for both that match and the Socceroos' friendly against France on Sunday week.
Tickets for the France match are also selling well, with less than 20,000 remaining.
