World Series' radio first

XM Satellite Radio is broadcasting the entire 2001 World Series on ESPN Radio between the New York Yankees and Arizona Diamondbacks.

It went live on Saturday with the first game, and the broadcast marked the first-ever uninterrupted coast-to-coast radio coverage of the World Series.

XM's programming line-up features 100 coast-to-coast digital channels: 71 music channels and 29 channels of sport, talk and entertainment, including XM's ESPN Radio Channel and four other dedicated sports channels.
