Instead of running from Tuesday to Friday as usual, next June's race meeting will end on the Saturday.
Chief executive Douglas Erskine-Crum said: "Extending the meeting into the weekend will give a large number of people who may not normally be able to attend an opportunity to experience this unique royal race meeting."
The Royal Ascot racing festival is to be extended from its traditional four days to five next year to mark the Golden Jubilee of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth.
