G-14 signs Media Content deal

G-14, the European football clubs grouping, has enlisted the services of Media Content Sports Media Advisors, who will advise on media, marketing and commercial strategy issues.

Very few details on the agreement were available following the announcement of the deal, but Media Content spokesman Gerry Buckland said the group was very pleased with the new association.

The AIM-listed company is to provide ongoing support and advice to G-14 general manager Thomas Kurth and the management committee.

Whilst it is not clear on exactly which issues G-14 will be seeking the expertise of the Media Content plc subsidiary, it could suggest that the group will once again begin exploring options for the negotiation of broadcast rights on their own behalf.
