Molencuthane, a new material which has unique energy dampening qualities, has been successfully used in the new walls and is ready for production and installation.
Craig Walls, director of product development at motor sport company Safari Associates said: "We have a working soft wall solution that can save lives and help prevent serious injuries. We'll be talking with track owners around the country to determine the best way to begin implementing Molecuthane soft walls at their tracks. Certainly our technology will improve, but we have a working solution today that could very well prevent another tragic death.
