Kirton and Argenti join Pascoe's fast track

Euro ’96 soccer tournament director and former ISL executive Glen Kirton and former API Sponsorship managing director Matthew Argenti have joined Fast Track Sales, the sports marketing and consultancy company founded by Alan Pascoe and Edward Leask.

Kirton will be heading up the company’s newly created football division ‘Fast Track Soccer’ which he describes as “a fantastic opportunity to take an established company into the world’s most popular sport.”
Kirton, who has worked in the soccer industry for the past 30 years, will be leading a team to acquire and deliver business related to the sport, in particular consultancy and implementation but also rights exploitation and event management.
Commenting on his appointment, Kirton said: “The soccer sponsorship market is now very mature so to be successful you must be fresh and flexible but above all creative, to offer sponsors a strong return on investment – this will be the philosophy of Fast Track Soccer.”
Meanwhile Argenti, who has previously worked at a senior level for such major institutions as IMG and UK sports marketing agencies CSS and API, has been appointed as international director of sales.
The former professional racing driver will be handling the acquisition and sale of international sponsorship rights and consultancy with particular emphasis on Formula One motor racing and soccer, where he will work closely with Kirton.
Fast Track chairman Alan Pascoe added: “Having spent much of our first three years working in partnership with UK Athletics to turn around the commercial fortunes of the sport in Britain, I am very excited that we are now in a position to expand our sales and consultancy portfolio with two such quality appointments.”
As part of the group’s expansion, Fast Track has also appointed Tim Stemp as media manager. Stemp moves from sports PR firm TWC where he was account manager.
Prior to that, Stemp worked with Continental Sports Management as client services account manager, looking after and building profiles for leading football and rugby players as well as generating and exploiting sponsorship opportunities for clients.
