The initiative has been set up in conjunction with Oklahoma-based firm Winnercomm, and will provide latest headlines, analysis and television listings as well as weather reports and a fantasy fishing league.
John Skipper, senior vice president and general manager at ESPN.com, commented: “We know that fishing, hunting and camping are by far the largest participatory sports in America, and that’s a huge fan base that we can serve.”
US online sports network, ESPN.com has launched a dedicated section to outdoor sports including fishing, hunting and camping.
