ECB monitor unrest in Zimbabwe

The England and Wales Cricket Board is monitoring unrest in Zimbabwe which could threaten England's tour of the country.

Internal disorder has seen white farmers attacked and property ransacked, raising fears over the safety of the England team, who are scheduled to play five one-day internationals in Zimbabwe in September and October before moving on to India and New Zealand.
A spokesman for the Foreign Office said: "We are in close touch with the cricket board. The situation is being monitored."
