Ginola set for legal clash with Villa

David Ginola is set for a legal fight with Aston Villa, claiming he was subjected to defamatory remarks about his physique.

Professional Footballers Association chief executive Gordon Taylor has been in touch with Villa manager John Gregory and chairman Doug Ellis in an attempt to resolve the matter.
And, according to The Mirror, Cherie Blair, the Prime Minister's barrister wife and an expert on employment law, has been in touch with Taylor.
"Cherie Blair rang me before she went to Argentina with her family," Taylor told the paper. "She wanted to check out footballing procedures."
Taylor claims he then spoke to Gregory. "He told me he was entitled to do with his players as he wished," he said.
