WWF Excess will replace the Livewire and Superstars shows, which are currently telecast on Saturday and Sunday mornings, respectively, on TNN.
The new show will feature highlights from that week's live events, interviews with WWF stars, as well as feature segments about WWF activities. Viewers will also have the opportunity to e-mail and call in questions. The first episode will feature a live interview with WWF star Triple H.
The World Wrestling Federation will produce a new two-hour magazine format series, WWF Excess, to anchor broadcaster TNN's new five-hour Saturday night sports and entertainment line-up, "Slammin' Saturday Night”.
