He is the chief financial officer of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Kushal was born in India and was residing in New Delhi for over 30 years before he relocated to Dubai in September 2008 to join the ICC as the Chief Financial Officer. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree from Delhi University before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1986.
Before moving to ICC, he served as the CFO of IMG - global sports, entertainment and media company, where he spent 12 years helping them set up a presence in India way back in 1996. Prior to his role at IMG, his experience included employment with Bharat Shell, Price Waterhouse Coopers and Vegepro Foods - a Glaxo India venture.
A keen sports enthusiast, Kushal has a special affinity towards cricket and follows the fortunes of the Indian cricket team with bated breath.
