Jonathon Bates is associate director - PR and communications - of sports and entertainment marketing agency Capitalize.
He is responsible for a broad range of sectors including national and international sponsors, governing bodies, rights holders, third sector organisations and lifestyle brands.
Existing clients include Standard Chartered Bank, top pro-cycling team HTC-Columbia, The Department for Transport THINK! Road Safety, Merrell, numerous Olympic sports and the Lord’s Taverners. Jonathon has nearly a decade’s experience of designing and implementing results focused PR and Communications campaigns.
Before joining Capitalize, Jonathon worked in horseracing, on blue riband sponsorships with Vodafone and John Smith’s, as well as with top tracks, Goodwood and Newbury.
