John Taylor

John Taylor is chairman of Sports Impact Limited.

Taylor, who is interviewed regularly on television and in the press, is a sports marketing and sponsorship expert with over 20 years experience of working with global brands such as Canon, AXA, npower, Coca-Cola and the Boat Race.

He has been responsible for defining sponsorship strategies for brands in several major sports - but especially in football - and for generating more than £250 million in sponsorship income on behalf of sports rights holders.

Taylor was responsible for negotiating sponsorships and for creating award -winning campaigns, such as the AXA - sponsored FA Cup and npower Test Series.

A founder of Advantage International (now Octagon) and John Taylor international, he set up Sports Impact with his partner John Collard in 2001.

He enjoys a close working relationship with many key influencers at sports federations and in the media.

Taylor’s interests include: golf, skiing, sailing, theatre and cinema.
