Giselle Davies was appointed Chief Executive of Falcon and Associates in July 2009, a company overseeing a United Arab Emirates Government feasability study into a possible bid by Dubai to host the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. A former communications director of the International Olympic Committee, Davies is a Cambridge University graduate, who joined the IOC in 2002 from Formula One team Jordan.
