Doug Arnot

Doug Arnot ia a lawyer appointed in October 2009 to be responsible for the overall planning, co-ordination and delivery of London 2012’s Games Time Operations by the the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG).

Arnot started his career as a lawyer, taking up his first senior appointment in the early nineties as the Executive Vice President for the 1994 World Cup, before becoming the Managing Director of Venues and Operations for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. In 1999 he joined the Salt Lake City Games senior team as Managing Director for Event Operations, directing and planning the operations for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. His last position was Senior Vice President of the Chicago 2016 Olympic bid team.
