Chris is a solicitor with Eaton Smith LLP, a law firm in Huddersfield, England. His work involves all aspects of the Company/Commercial areas of law and this gives him the opportunity to offer legal services in commercial contracts involved with sport and sportspersons. Chris has had a varied sporting career himself, playing plenty of rugby at school (touring South Africa in 1993 was a highlight), taking his hammer-throwing from school/county level to compete in various British Universities Sports Association (now BUCS) competitions and also representing his University at hockey for three years. Whilst it has been a while since Chris played sport, he is still very much interested in sport itself but now prefers to apply himself to sports law rather than the sports field.
