Charly Classen was promoted to senior director of business development for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and commercial director of ESPN UK in April 2010.
He was previously ESPN’s senior director of business development for EMEA.
Classen joined ESPN in 2006, and helped lead the broadcaster’s Cricinfo, Racing Live and Scrum acquisitions, and helped launch an EMEA version of the ESPN360 video player.
Prior to ESPN Classen was at FremantleMedia where he held the roles of VP Participation TV and director of business diversification.
