With a 20 year history, Presteigne Charter is one of the world’s leading broadcast dry hire and systems rental specialists.
In 2005 it opened its first European office in Cologne and in 2006 acquired specialist company Microwave Video Systems, further expanding its RF capabilities. In 2007 it expanded its European reach by opening a Netherlands operation in Hilversum, along with a second office in Germany, this time in Munich.
In 2008 a key development took place with the acquisition of Charter Broadcast. As Managing Director Mike Ransome commented at the time, the benefit to clients is the breadth of the equipment and technology it can offer. As the first UK company to work in HD fused with substantial investment in HD equipment, it claims to be an innovator at heart.
