Sport Central is ideally located in the heart of Newcastle’s City Centre, making it the perfect venue for a wide variety of regional, national and international events. Sport Central is not just a sports venue, it offers a 3,000 seated Arena which can be configured for just about any large indoor event with 5 star facilities on hand. In addition to this there is a 25m pool for competition, casual swimming and rehabilitation, a fourth Sports Hall, Climbing Wall, three glass backed squash courts and a 150 station fitness gym, in addition to this there is a 40m indoor sprint track and advanced research equipment in the integral laboratories.
Less than 3 hours from King’s Cross by train, and a 15 minute drive from Newcastle International Airport, Sport Central is expected to become the UK’s leading venue for National and International level indoor sports.
