PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To manage the implementation of operational projects aimed at delivering all the sponsorship rights of the marketing programme at high professional standards on UEFA EURO 2012™ to the Commercial Affiliates. This includes appropriate planning and coordination with the other relevant UEFA Divisions and units and external parties (LOCs), so as to act as a dynamic interface between the organisational and the marketing services teams. In addition, manage the relationship with local sponsors and support the global partners in the host countries in coordination with the Global Sponsor Management Unit.
 
MAIN ACTIVITIES

  • Manage allocated rights delivery projects on UEFA EURO 2012™, ensure they reach the appropriate standards, are delivered on time and within budget
  • Manage the sponsorship involvement of local sponsors and local representatives of global sponsors in close coordination with Global Sponsor Management Unit
  • Build the necessary cooperation with internal and external units in order to be able to proactively contribute to the marketing aspects of all organisational projects
  • Develop and implement innovative and reliable procedures, tools, solutions and communication processes to maximise the value of the marketing rights through high level delivery and in the framework of the UEFA system
  • Establish and keep constantly updated the project plans, including timeline, budgets, status reports and all other necessary information. Reporting post event and transfer of knowledge and best practices is also key
  • Deliver all marketing rights on-site at venues or from headquarters during the competition.
