Due to significant growth, Sports Marketing and Management is looking to recruit a Client Services Manager based in our UK/European Head Office in London to help deliver outstanding results and support the continuing success of the business.
Established in 1986, Sports Marketing and Management has built an outstanding reputation as one of the leading global specialists in sports sponsorship sales and strategic consulting services. Our clients are leading sports rights holders including the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, International Sporting Federations and National Governing bodies across a wide range of leading sports, including Olympics, Swimming, Golf and Rugby.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day to day “in house” operations of the business to ensure the optimal performance of the Sponsorship Sales Team. The objectives of this role are:
- To ensure the Sponsorship Sales Team spend maximum time “in the market” ;
- To ensure the Sponsorship Sales Team have access to the best information and resources to achieve optimal results; and
- To foster outstanding relationships and communication with all clients.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Manage the preparation of all sales presentation materials and sales resources
- Service client accounts, including management reporting
- Lead market research and intelligence
- Day to day management of the administration of the London office
Applicants will need to:
- Be highly organized with excellent project and time management skills
- Possess a pro-active “can do” attitude to anticipating and solving problems
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have proven experience in sales administration/business development
- Ability to use Microsoft Office to a high standard, particularly PowerPoint
