INFOSTRADA SPORTS, October 16 - Manchester United let a two-goal lead slip at Old Trafford for only the second time in PL history and the first time in ten years against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday (2-2). On the only previous occasion they were 3-1 up against Chelsea and drew 3-3 in September 2000.
- This was the second time this season that Manchester United let a two-goal lead slip – they also drew 3-3 at Everton
- Manchester United have dropped six points from winning positions in the division already – they only dropped three points in total last season
- Manchester United had previous won all 76 PL home matches when they led by a two-goal margin or better at half time
- Manchester United scored their first own goal in two years – since Wes Brown in their 2-1 defeat at Liverpool in September 2008.
