Ammann wins Swiss record equalling second hill in four hills competition Simon Ammann won the four hills competition in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on Saturday, 1 January.
- This is the second time the Olympic Champion has won a ski jumping event in the four hills competition. He also was victorious in Oberstdorf in December 2008.
- With his second win, he equals Walter Steiner for most wins in the four hills competition by a Swiss jumper.
- Steiner won in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Bischofshofen in 1974.
