The race to become the President of the IOC (International Olympic Committee) gathered pace today, with Richard Carrion joining Thomas Bach and Ser Miang Ng in throwing his hat into the ring to replace Jacques Rogge this September.

However, SportBusiness International readers will not be surprised at the candidates who have come forward, as back in our December 2012 edition we predicted Bach, Ng and Carrion would be the front runners to become the next head of the Olympic family.
