After 103 editions, BritSport Weekly is changing to better meet our readers’ needs. In a recent survey you told us that, whilst you appreciated the exclusive content in BritSport, even more valuable to you would be information on opportunities to grow your business – tender releases, notice of upcoming sports events and conferences, job opportunities, contact details for people and organisations.
A new product, SportBusiness Marketplace, has been developed in response to your input and will replace BritSport and BritSport Weekly. It will combine a weekly newsletter, a dedicated section of the SportBusiness website, and a printed directory – the Marketplace Directory. SportBusiness Marketplace will have an international scope, presenting opportunities to expand your business from across the world, not just the UK.
The newsletter will provide weekly updates of the latest tenders for contracts in the sports business, links to organising committees of sports events, job profiles and news of people moves. The content from the newsletter will be backed up to the website, creating a valuable archive of business opportunities.
At the end of the year the service will be complemented by the Marketplace Directory. This unique resource will contain details of hundreds of contacts from the global sports business and will be a great place to position products and services.
