A new executive conference series is launched, the first event focusing on the business of F1.
SportBusiness and Bloomberg TV will present on 6 April the first conference covering the business of Formula One motor racing to be held in the City of London.
F1 and the City have never been closer. The Williams team is planning a flotation and the sport’s rights-holder is owned by a private equity firm. This conference will feature the sport’s most senior management executives who will give delegates the opportunity to question them about the direction which the business of F1 is going in.
Executives from the teams, races and sponsors will give presentations explaining the importance of the City to their businesses and revealing how clients can maximise return on investment when dealing with them. Each presentation will be followed by questions from the floor. The session will conclude with a round-table discussion covering the key themes affecting the business of F1 now and those which will shape its future.
Delegates will be able to email suggestions for themes to cover in the roundtable to ensure that the discussion is tailored to their aims. It will be chaired by Christian Sylt and Caroline Reid, the authors of conference partner Formula Money which will also supply delegates with its latest F1 sponsorship return on investment.
